Gross Menu

Last year we had pretty awesome looking food, so I think we should still use all of those ideas, but add a couple of new things.

So far the only ideas I've come up with are brain cheeseball, which will be made with my new brain mold, which should be on its way now!

idea: damn I wish I'd pulled over to buy that hairdressing head at that yard sale... but if I can find something like that, cut the top off and serve the salsa in a bowl inside the head....

Martha Stewart's Halloween ideas are usually a little elegeant and/or PG13 for our taste, but her spider toothpicks are a subtle but nice touch.

Of course we'll be using the witch fingers and puking pumpkin, and the s&s cocktail meatballs always go off reeeally well.

I think I want to use Janet for the ween party invitation. Just have to figure out exactly what she'll be screaming...
maybe with an off image balloon saying "Catriona, quit yelling!!" hahahahahashewouldsokillmehahahahaha

Looks like between me, Catriona and Janet here, we'll have quite the 60's horror theme happening. Catriona wants to be Tippy Whatsherface from "The Birds" and I'm gonna be Rosemary and baby. I'm really stuggling with whether or not to hack my hair and dye it blonde the day before halloween, just to really go the whole way. I'll prolly chicken out. I'll have to be blonde though, so highlights it is. Too bad - I've grown so attached to my crap brown gray streaked hair.


I'm thinking it will be quite a challenge to find a 60's aline maternity dress. Reeeally hard. Might have to do the nightie thing. Makes for a more authentic still recreation...
